That's what this is (allegedly) . According to Roger Anderton who has been looking into Albert Einstein's acclaimed (and regularly dismissed) Unified Field Theory, harking back to the work of Nickolai Tesla. The music itself sounds like a less sinister digital version the alien message in the film CONTACT. Play it while you're meditating.

A cool selection of free fiction, audio, comics, and more this time. E-Fiction Afterburn SF has a new story up "Gliese 581" By Lee Gimenez. "In today's world of roller coaster oil prices and constant discussion of alternative energy sources it is hard not to speculate on what the future holds for our planet. Today's story takes that speculation into the next century and beyond. An intriguing look at...

As expected, the Gliese 581 system did not disappoint and is now revealing the smallest planet outside our solar system, bringing the total number of planets found orbiting around the red dwarf star to three. When the star was first targeted by astronomers nearly two years ago, only a single planet was detected. The newly found object weighs about 5 times more than Earth, has a rocky surface, and its...

During the last 10 years or so we have located over 200 exoplanets but not until very recently, on the April 24, 2007, we have found one planet that is most probably located in the habitable zone. This is the first time and a major breakthrough in my opinion. Research-team member Xavier Delfosse said: Because of its [...] Finally Some SETI Progress: Gliese 581 c - Read More...

The most "earthlike" exoplanet found to date is Gliese 581c , the smallest planet yet discovered in the habitable zone of another star, Gliese 581 , which is a Red Dwarf star. Given that it is in the habitable zone, what would conditions be like on that planet ?

In April, a European team of astronomers announced in Astronomy and Astrophysics the discovery of two possibly habitable Earth-like planets. A and A is now publishing two independent, detailed studies of this system, which confirm that one of the planets might indeed be located within the habitable zone around the star Gliese 581.
