According to The Star-Ledger , the Yankees announced today that they will not be offering arbitration to any of their eligible players. Those players include Johnny Damon, Jerry Hairston Jr., Eric Hinske, Hideki Matsui, Jose Molina, Xavier Nady and Andy Pettitte. Yankees Decline To Offer Arbitration To Anyone None of these blokes were offered arbitration: * Johnny Damon * Andy Pettitte * Hideki Matsui * Xavier Nady * Jose Molina Each carries his share of baggage: Damon can't throw and is a pretty bad fielder, even in left, though he's still quite valuable offensively.
