Halama would join fellow southpaw Sean Henn and second baseman Jarrett Hoffpauir in the " H...

It’s hard to believe it’s been over two weeks since the Tigers collapse. The playoffs are winding down and baseball is less then two weeks away from being finished. Jason Beck caught up with Carlos Guillen late last week and a maelstrom was the result. Guillen wasn’t happy with the way Jim Leyland handled things at the end of the year. Leyland explained his side. The two talked. Leyland says everything is fine. Guillen isn’t saying much else. Guillen was wrong to go public with this. He’s wrong about his own abilities. But he’s far from...

On the heels of an unbelievable play-in game to determine who got to chase the World Series title, the Detroit Tigers are left wondering what they have to do next to make it back to the postseason. The Tigers were considered a vaunted team going into 2008, and we all know what happened. 2009 saw a greater emphasis on pitching and defense, and they improved as a result. Obviously, it wasn't good enough....
