After trailing the Twins 10-0 in the fourth inning, the Royals made the game very interesting late, but alas, they could not get Lenny DiNardo a no decision. The Royals ended up recording 14 hits tonight, which says a lot about the Twins, who continue to put Bobby Keppel out there for some reason. No Royal had three hits, which is sorta weird. The reinforcements, as expected, arrived prior to Saturday’s game to bolster the Royals’ bruised and battered bullpen. The club recalled right-hander Carlos Rosa and purchased the contracts of right-hander Victor Marte and left-hander Dusty Hughes. All had been pitching at Class AAA Omaha.
