The Montgomery Biscuits have activated 3B Jason Bowers from the 7-Day disabled list. This move coincides with the release of Chip Cannon.

Per Stacy Long: First baseman Chip Cannon was released by the Biscuits after today's 4-0 loss to Mobile. Cannon hit .103 with 21 strikeouts in eight games. He had three hits, all home runs, in 29 at-bats. Cannon signed with Tampa Bay late in spring training.
