by Darren Hauck - AP Jason Kendall's ability to get hit by pitches isn't a good enough reason to bring him back for 2010, at any price. View full size photo » All of a sudden, after two years of sticking with Jason Kendall , the Brewers look like they're ready to make a move behind the plate. Frankly, it's about time. Earlier this week, Doug Melvin told Arn Tellem (who represents Jason Kendall)...

The Arizona Diamondbacks will consider making multi-year offers when they look at this year's pitching free agent class, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. A proposed deal that would have sent first baseman Lyle Overbay to Arizona for catcher Chris Snyder is apparently not going to happen due to Snyder's back woes. It would just be too confusing with Travis...

The D-Backs and Blue Jays are discussing a trade in which the Jays would receive C Chris Snyder while the D-Backs would obtain 1B Lyle Overbay. If the trade goes through the Jays would have their catcher and would no longer be looking at Rod Barajas. The Mets have supposedly have targeted Rod Barajas as their primary target for their vacant position. Barajas hit 21 HRs last year, which I'm sure is...
