Two men in a group of three who went fishing Tuesday on Belleville Lake drowned when their boat began to rapidly take on water shortly after leaving shore. None of the men wore a life preserver, police said. Van Buren Township police identified the men who drowned as Fred Lewis Jr., 63, and William McRae, 46, both of Detroit.
