A number of reports are linking the Phillies, along with the Reds, Angels and Twins, with trade talks involving Colorado third baseman/first baseman Garrett Atkins, scheduled to become a free agent after 2010. Atkins hit .286/.328/.452 in 2008 with 21 homers and 99 RBIs, substantial drops over his 2007 totals and good for only a 97 OPS+, seeing much, much higher production at home just like Matt Holliday....
