According to Bruce Levine on ESPN 1000 , the Cubs are working on signing lefty reliever John Grabow to a multi-year deal worth between $6.5 million and $7.5 million. According to Troy E. Renck of the Denver Post, the Rockies placed lefty Glendon Rusch on waivers today. The Rockies intend to replace him with Randy Flores. Rusch, 34, signed a minor league deal with Colorado in December. He posted a 6.75 ERA in 18.6 innings, and failed to shut down lefties.
