Blogging the Offseason is a 30 team series in which I ask a blogging representative from each MLB team a series of ten questions about their desires and thoughts surrounding the offseason. Check out all of them here . Today's AL team is the Detroit Tigers and our guest is Ian from the Tigers Blog, Bless You Boys . 1. Rumors are swirling around that the Tigers are looking to cut payroll and that Curtis...

Happy Halloween, kids and kittens! Remember to match your costume to the ambient air temperature, don't eat any candy that you receive unwrapped, load up on the hand sanitizer when dealing with the grubby hands of small children, and don't dress up as Joel Zumaya or you won't survive the night. Anyone dressing up as [...]

Even with the Yankees playing well, the Tigers...
Can someone give Mississippi's Jevan Snead some love Delonte West's father said last week's three guns on his motorcycle thing was all about self-protection. If that was all about self-protection, then I would hate to see what revenge would look like for him? An army tank and a cannon? Maybe so. When did Barry Zito all of a sudden matter again? Yeah, it would be so great if Mark Sanchez could throw...
Justin Verlander . A.J. Burnett . Ubaldo Jimenez . These are the names that make scouts salivate. Why? One word. Stuff. Two components determine how nasty a pitcher’s stuff truly is: velocity and movement. We’ve had radar guns to track the league’s hardest throwers for some time (that would be Joel Zumaya , of course) But now, with the help of pitchf/x data and a local regression...
