The Cardinals have signed former Atlanta Braves left-handed reliever Royce Ring. We had designated him for assignment on August 2nd of last year. That essentially ends the whole Will Ledezma/Will Startup -- Macay McBride trade haul. Poor Royce was used weirdly by Cox last year. I thought he had more than Cox let him show.
