The Rockies disabled Aaron Cook with a right shoulder strain, which could make a huge difference down the stretch. He'll have an MRI on Monday, and the signs are encouraging that the injury isn't serious. The team called up Matt Herges from AAA Colorado Springs to replace him on the 25-man, and moved Manny Corpas to the 60-day DL to make room on the 40-man roster.
