Mitch Talbot made the start for the Phoenix Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League yesterday, allowing two earned runs on four hits in 2.2 innings. He walked a batter and allowed both runs on a homerun. He threw 29 of his 45 pitches for strikes and got five outs on groundballs. Not sure if there is an official announcement but the same pitch f/x technology found in all 30 MLB stadiums will now be at two ballparks in the Arizona Fall League: Surprise and Peoria. The Rays minor league pitchers play for the Phoenix team so they won't have a good deal of data but at least there will be some to look at later this month. Last night, the Durham Bulls completed in a 3 game sweep of the Governors' Cup Finals of the International League in a 12 inning victory over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees .
