The Speaker Project Stephen D. Paine Gallery Massachusetts College of Art and Design 621 Huntington Ave. Opening tonight, 6-8 p.m. Through November 22 MassArt's Stephen D. Paine Gallery has been taken over by a sound system. Having turned their pitching staff upside down Wednesday, the Dodgers turned to Chan Ho Park to shore up the bullpen, purchasing his contract while designating Angel Chavez for assignment, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com. (Gurnick also has a progress report on Jason Schmidt, who threw 40 pitches from the mound during a bullpen session before the game.)

It took three games this year for Ned Colletti to shoot himself in the foot, a new personal best. In order to add a seventh arm to an over worked bullpen, the Dodgers have DFA'd Angel Chavez and put Chan Ho Park on the 25 man roster . Simultaneous injuries to Jeff Kent and Tony Abreu leave Delwyn Young, Chin-Lung Hu, Ramon Martinez and Angel Chavez as the team's second basemen for now. Neither Kent nor Abreu is expected to be out for too long, but considering both spent time on the disabled list in 2007, it's something to keep in mind for the regular season. We may see Hu as a starting second baseman sooner than we think.

Assume that Robinson Cano is hurt . The Yankees would need someone to play second. At Triple-A, presently, there are three middle infielders: Alberto Gonzalez, Angel Chavez and Chris Basak. Each is hitting over .300 at the moment. (Chris Basak is the only one showing some pop while he's doing it.) If the Yankees had to make a call for help, it would be between Basak and Gonzalez. Basak is your typical...
