Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe feels the Rays will add one of Jason Giambi , Milton Bradley , Pat Burrell or Adam Dunn . Seems as if the prices for these guys are dropping rapidly, and the Rays might be able to add a pretty good hitter to replace Cliff Floyd and/or Rocco Baldelli . It may seem that way on the surface, but some of these pieces are going to start falling very quickly. To no surprise,...

Over the past few days, you can't escape arguments like this one if you've read anything about the A's-Rockies trade: Matt Holliday is a creation of Coors field. His career line on the road is only .280/.348/.455! That's an OPS of .803, or what Cliff Floyd put up in 2008. I'm not going to try to convince you that Holliday's numbers aren't greatly Coors-inflated (because they are), but quoting his...

"It was awesome, man," Floyd said. "If this is the way I'm supposed to go out, it's unbelievable. The guys were great, we had a great time. Everybody in the organization is first-class. We went through a lot this year, we grew up as a team and as a family. And it was a treat to be around guys that really wanted to work hard and make this change. I'm definitely happy to be part of it." http://blogs.tampabay.com...
