A little snippet from T.R. Sullivan that I missed earlier today: Eric Hurley will not be rejoining the Texas rotation, though. He has been sidelined with right shoulder inflammation, and the Rangers are not going to pitch him again this year. Instead, he'll concentrate on getting ready for next season. Can someone tell me why every well-regarded young pitcher the Rangers bring to the majors ends up...

Per the DMN blog, Tommy Hunter and Travis Metcalf are up, Ryan Roberts is down, and Eric Hurley has been put on the d.l. Kason Gabbard has been moved to the 60 day d.l. to make room for Hunter on the 40 man roster. The only other 40 man move that would appear to be imminent is bringing Brandon McCarthy back from the 60 day d.l. At that time, you'd figure either Hank Blalock would head to the 60 day...

You know how Eric Hurley wasn't hurt in his last start, he just struggled? Well, never mind. He's missing his next start with biceps tendinitis. That sucks. Dustin Nippert may have to fill in for him.

Per Richard Durrett, Eric Hurley is still having issues with his hamstring, so the Rangers will call up Matt Harrison to get the start (and make his major league debut) tomorrow. No word yet on how the Rangers will make room for him, but you'd have to figure that either Warner Madrigal gets sent down or Vicente Padilla goes to the d.l.

Eric Hurley will miss his next start, which was scheduled for tomorrow. He has a hamstring issue. Scott Feldman, who was going to be bumped back to Tuesday to get him some extra rest, will start tomorrow instead. And Vicente Padilla says he's been bothered the past two starts with a stiff neck, and it is unknown whether he'll be able to make his next start.

Eric Hurley? They can't hit Eric freakin' Hurley?!?! That's it, I'm done talking about this team. No more about Brett Myers getting hit around. No more about Ryan "I want A-Rod money but hit like Dave Kingman" Howard and his battle with the Mendoza Line. No more DP Feliz, Gavin Eaton, or Uncle Cholly either. Like Muhammad Ali in a game of Jenga, I'm out, and off to blog about the WNBA. You can join...
