Reliever Josh Kinney, a former Springfield Cardinal and one of the heroes of St. Louis' drive to the 2006 World Championship, made his successful return to the major leagues after recovering from Tommy John surgery. Kinney just finished a one-two-three sixth inning for the Redbirds, keeping them close as they trail the Chicago Cubs 4-1.
