BALTIMORE -- Tigers rookie outfielder Matt Joyce has won two things in recent days: the American League Player of the Week Award and some playing time. Joyce played as Gary Sheffield sat Friday night against Orioles right-hander Jeremy Guthrie. And Joyce is due to play tonight as Marcus Thames sits against right-hander Daniel Cabrera in the third game of a four-game series.
