3B Travis Metcalf expects to have surgery tomorrow in Dallas to cut out part of his left hamstring tendon. He tore part of the tendon rounding third in a game Friday. Metcalf said the procedure takes about 15 minutes and he's probably out 6-8 weeks. The surgery means the tendon shouldn't give him any more problems.
