Youth reigns, at last. For the first time, the Mariners unleashed an interesting cluster of young guys in the lineup together: Bryan LaHair at first, Jeff Clement at catcher, Jeremy Reed at designated hitter and Wladimir Balentien in center field. They also got their first (and possibly last) look at reliever Jared Wells. It felt like Triple-A Day at Safeco Field. It was refreshing. And let's hope...
