Marc Stein has the scoop: The injury-hit Washington Wizards plan to sign veteran guard Earl Boykins to bolster their depleted backcourt, sources told ESPN.com. What, Muggsey Bogues wasn't available? This is good from an entertainment standpoint, but pretty disappointing from a talent standpoint. It'd be nice to have a point guard who, you know, played like a point guard. Brevin Knight would have been...

I saw Dan Dickau 's name in a Suns ' box score, wanted to mention it, and then decided I should expand it to talk about other guys that are out there. But NBA careers can be long, and the Clippers...

No, Brevin Knight or Rafer Alston did not join the Heat at Tuesday's practice at Amway Arena here in Orlando. Neither did Jerry Stackhouse or Malik Rose. Fine. It is early, very early. Snap judgments in the wake of Monday's...

-- There were just nine players available for pick-up games Monday, so the Bobcats (plus ex-Bobcat Brevin Knight) played a single game of 4-on-4. Best play I saw was center Nazr Mohammed, bounce-passing around his back to point guard D.J....

Salt Lake Tribune: Blazers Will Work Out Jarron Collins Ross Siler writes... "Collins is exploring options elsewhere. He's in Cleveland this week working out and playing with the Cavaliers and is planning to do the same next week in Portland with the Trail Blazers. The Cavaliers have an open roster spot and are expected to carry the maximum 15 players while the Trail Blazers have 13 players under...

It sure has been taking awhile to finalize the Marquis Daniels deal. I know Danny must be trying every option possible to get a sign and trade worked out. Since Indy isn't willing to take on any of the players Danny is offering, Danny needs to find another team to trade with and I am sure he is calling every GM in the league to try to work something out. It's hard to believe, but there are still rumors...

"Orlando contacted us and we talked but they've decided to go in another direction. They're looking at other options to fill their point guard position." Bill Strickland, the agent for free-agent point guard Brevin Knight , as told to Alex Kennedy of RealGM.

Indeed, the Magic must now go bargain shopping after their early-summer spending spree, which included trading for Vince...

Here's a very handy list of all the free agents that will be hitting the market in July. They even have a page sorted by position . Why don't we pool our collective wisdom and start picking some favorites? As you make comments, I can update this list. So far I've just tried to narrow the list down to guys that interest me and start lumping them into vague groupings. (r = restricted | eto = early termination...

View full size photo uploaded May 14, 2009 The post you've been waiting for all off-season, Brevin Knight . Outside of Deron Williams re-signing with the the Jazz last summer, there wasn't much going on with the team. A little tweak came last July though when the Jazz swapped PGs with the Clippers. The much maligned Jason Hart was sent back to LA from whence he came in exchange for the much traveled...

Brevin Knight played pretty well in Game 2, and judging from the e-mails I've gotten in the last month, that probably surprised a multitude of Jazz fans.
