Brian Cardinal has survived nine years in the league because of his smarts, and is already dispensing some wisdom to younger players.

Andy Katz, an ESPN college hoops virtuoso, pressed this rumor a few times Tuesday, including in this blog post . The theory is that...

The Wolves altered their roster quite a bit with the recent draft-day trade that brought in Mike Miller, Kevin Love, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins while dispatching O.J. Mayo, Antoine Walker, Marko Jaric and Greg Buckner. The main rotation guys seem fairly clear: Randy Foye, Miller, Ryan Gomes*, Rashad McCants, Al Jefferson, Kevin Love, Corey [...]

The TWolves going to get a whole Lotta Love . Minnesota gives up OJ Mayo, Marco Jaric , Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner for Kevin Love, Matt Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins in what is now the biggest draft day trade. Personally, I think that Minnesota is making a huge, huge mistake. OJ is a much better prospect than Love. Memphis fans should be ecstatic right now.

Just came across ESPN. Memphis gets: O.J. Mayo Marko Jaric Antoine Walker Greg Buckner Minnesota gets: Kevin Love Mike Miller Brian Cardinal Jason Collins Nothing confirmed, but we will keep you updated. This could be a precursor to a second move that nets Michael Beasley. Perhaps Mayo/Warrick for Beasley/Banks? Also, I would expect that if this deal goes through that Walker is bought out, as might...

WASHINGTON D.C. -- It's been a long time since Purdue was a fixture on the national scene. Nearly a decade, actually. Back then, the coach with America's most recognizable comb-over, Gene Keady, was still roaming the sideline, his teams synonymous with floor-burners like Brian Cardinal and Brad Miller.

The Memphis Grizzlies made a trade before the deadline passed, but it didn't include Mike Miller, Kyle Lowry, or Brian Cardinal. Instead, it included Sergei Lishouk…or at least the rights to the 49th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. It was a part of a three team trade that involved two former Grizzlies players [...]

Brian Cardinal: The Custodian actually got into a game on Friday night, playing six minutes against the Sonics and contributing zero points, zero rebounds, zero assists, zero...well, you get the idea. He did miss two shots, though. Personal anecdote: Believe it or not, I once attended the same Sports and Literature class as Brian Cardinal. Each day, he'd arrive at class (usually five or six minutes...
