When the Suns signed Dee Brown to fill out their roster a couple weeks ago, it looked like a move done just for that purpose – to reach the league-mandated minimum roster requirement. Less than two weeks after he was signed, we now know that was indeed the case, as the Suns sent Brown packing to [...]

Well, for those of you that don’t know, the Suns released Dee Brown today. Though I’m guessing you all know that, because seriously… who doesn’t spend their Tuesday surfing the net to find out about ex-Jazzsters? Those of you that have also been paying attention to the Jazz know that the Jazz have really been [...]

The Phoenix Suns today cut guard backup point guard Dee Brown, after he saw action in only 2 games in the purple and orange. The move reduces the Suns’ roster to 12 players. According to the Arizona Republic’s Paul Coro, the Suns’ move may have had something to do with Miami releasing guard Shaun Livingston. [...]

In an unsurprising move, the Suns released Dee Brown today. Those non-guaranteed contracts can be a real bear. However, not all is lost. With Brown once again in the news, it gives me an excuse to torture UofA alums. Dee, Deron, Luther, you’re the best around. The Wildcats could never keep you down. Kerr is probably [...]

Hmmm. I’m kind of perplexed by this. My initial reaction was one of shock and awe. I really thought that Brown could’ve helped us down the stretch and gave us depth and insurance as one of Nash’s back-ups. However, this also leads me to believe that they are looking at signing someone else, maybe another PG? [...]

Breaking News: Suns release Dee Brown Just received the press release confirming that the Suns have released Dee Brown. This means they MUST be clearing roster space for someone else. Courtney Sims perhaps? I am guessing we will know by the end of the day. Unless of course they sign Brown to a 10 day contract but since they can only sign him to two of those I don't think that makes much sense. Stay...

Life is good again! The Suns pushed back a late surge by the Thunder to win 110-102 bumping their record to 17-12. But the win wasn’t due to our usual stars… The Stars Our usual stars (Nash, Amare, Shaq) didn’t win the game for the Suns like they usually do. Shaq had a terrific game but Nash [...]

Probably not a whole lot. Guard Dee Brown has been signed to be the 13th man, and the main intrigue will be if he passes Goran Dragic on the depth chart. I understand that really none of the options fit the criteria the Suns ideally desired, which is a quality backup pure point guard who the team would be comfortable [...]
