Tonight's theme at the Meadowlands will be '10 is Enough,' as in 10 straight losses to open the season is enough for the Nets. Unfortunately, eight may have to be enough, maybe nine, against the Pacers. In fact, as of this morning, the Nets had about 8 1/2 men ready to take on Indiana. Forward Eduardo Najera was having his achy back worked on during shootaround and it wasn't clear whether or not he'd...

You have to feel for Nets fans. With the team dressing just 8 players, their team played with heart and never gave up, but at the end of the game, they were still 0-7. We might go 0-82. Yeah, we might. One night we score 68 pts, the next night we give up 124 pts... We're just godawful. #1 pick here we come!! I say 10-72. But LeBron will come right? Nets suck...just sayin. This is going to be a ugly...

By Chris Sheridan EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - They don't give out Ws in the NBA for moral victories, which is why the New Jersey Nets will awake Sunday still sporting the league's only goose egg in the win column. But what happened Saturday night, with New Jersey sticking with the Boston Celtics all the way into the final minute of the fourth quarter of an 86-76 loss despite having only eight healthy...

October 18, 2009 Via: AP After years of courting the European and Asian markets, the NBA is trying to build up its fan base among Hispanics. The league will launch a marketing campaign on Monday called enebea -- the Spanish pronunciation of NBA. Featuring increased TV and internet exposure, plus community projects, the NBA hopes expand its reach among a demographic that makes up 15 percent of its fan...

The Nets are hurtin'. Add Jarvis Hayes to the list of players who are injured. Hayes will join Devin Harris and Keyon Dooling on the sideline when the Nets play the Knicks tomorrow. Tony Battie and Eduardo Najera could be there, too. Hayes has something called a stress reaction in his right shin, which could become a stress fracture if not handled the right way. So Hayes could be out "let's say...

Devin Harris did not practice today. Neither did Yi Jianlian. Both guys are hurting, neither of them seriously. However, Harris' fragility is starting to become a worry, even if no one wants to admit it. Harris won't play on Friday against the Knicks, which means that he and Courtney Lee, who are supposed to make up the Nets' starting backcourt, have played in just one half of a game together this...

Devin Harris and Courtney Lee both hurt their ankles today. Actually, Terrence Williams hurt both Devin Harris and Courtney Lee today. He may want to be more careful. Over a span of about 10 minutes, the rookie was involved in plays in which both members of the Nets' (projected) starting backcourt hurt themselves. Harris said he "tweaked" his left ankle, the same one that he sprained last...
