by Brett Pollakoff Filed under: NBA Last Night , NBA Media Watch , NBA Videos Just when I was about ready to tell you that the NBA TV show with Chris Webber, Gary Payton, and Ahmad Rashad had surpassed the tried and true TNT crew in terms of entertainment value, C-Webb comes through on the TNT set, big time. Check out this video where a thoroughly surprised Charles Barkley has to dodge a couple of...

The Gary Payton of Poultry, Video. A lot of stuff I post here is very self indulgent. I see stuff, and I just like it. This is one of those videos. This is vintage, this is relatively unknown, this is funny. This just made me laugh happy. :-) Does anyone from the Seattle region remember [...]

Gary Payton would make an ugly Anderson Varejao, Video. The other night was Anderson Varejao night at the Cavs game. Everyone got a sweet wig. Ahmad invites the boys to try on the Verejao wig. The Glove is the only one that obliges, and I thank him for that. Vid below the pic.
First things first- Brandon Roy might be a young star, but talking smack during live play to Paul Pierce, the defending Finals MVP, is Spike-Lee-on-the-sidelines lame. You're not MJ, Larry Bird, Gary Payton or even a 39-year-old Sam Cassell. Even Sam-I-Am shoots better than 3-11 from the field and his vertical leap at this point makes Greg Ostertag look like Harold Minor. Sure, Roy nailed a nice turnaround...

Its rare that I have a chance...

Details are sketchy, but rumors are beginning to surface about Gary Payton making a return to professional basketball, but this time on the other side of the Pacific Ocean , at least as reported by solobasket.com. I'm not sure what was more surprising in reading that article, that Payton would like to subject himself to playing overseas, or that Bob Weiss is a head coach in China. I wonder if Bob Hill...
