[Thanks to Ozzie Montana for today's game preview. Sign up if you want to do one in the future. I figure the Bulls have an easy blowout, and we all laugh at how it made sense the Bulls offense to start out cruddy against three good defensive teams. But we'll also likely be wrong then thinking the offensive efficiency problem will go away. But if they lose...real fun begins here. -ed] You have to hand...

As the Spurs get ready to begin their march towards a fifth NBA Title, we say goodbye to those who have departed: Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto, Kurt Thomas, Ime Udoka, Jacque Vaughn and Drew Gooden. We wish them the best of luck in the next chapter of their lives. We also wholeheartedly welcome the changes made by the Spurs during the offseason. "I just think it’s a different time in the...

The San Antonio Spurs had a terrific off season, as they boosted their roster with significant talent and going for this season, they are one of the legit contenders to win it all. However, they are coming from a disappointing season last year. Last season, the Spurs were derailed by injuries on their best players. Tony Parker got injured earlier in the season and Manu Ginobili missed the second half...

The Spurs open against the New Orleans Hornets on Oct 28th. What will the starting line-up be on that night? There are 2 positions that are unequivocally locked in: Point Guard and whatever position it is we assign to Tim Duncan. Power Forward or Center, it doesn't really matter. Tim will start, and he'll be our main big man. Point Guard, obviously, is the other position without challenge. Tony Parker...
Last season, the Bucks had legitimate aspirations in reaching the Playoffs when they received Richard Jefferson from the Nets. However, injuries suffered by both Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut guided the Bucks into the lottery once again. Even without those two guys, head coach Scott Skiles managed to guide the Bucks into being competitive by having a 27-29 record midway February, but the lack of depth...
Box Score / Recap I finally had the pleasuring of seeing part of a Bucks preseason game tonight--albeit a webcam of a television showing the Bulls ' WGN broadcast--but it was definitely better than nothing. Fortunately we've also got another package of highlights from Jim Paschke and the Bucks.com crew above. First off: Andrew Bogut . My how we've missed you. Though the Bucks' first win of the preseason...
The Bucks took a year off from Green Bay but they were back in action last night, beating the Bulls 98-86. Now thats more like it, check out Winks' boy Kurt Thomas wearing a Bucks jersey. The new starting five is doing some things, and thankfully they didn't give up 100 points Saturday night. However, this was a game where no one really had a huge game. Bogut played a little more tonight
Is Kurt Thomas the new PF in Milwaukee? Well for the time being yes, Skiles has made a few changes to the starting five. He has also inserted Carlos Delfino in at the SF spot. This is more of a move for defense and rebounding, than it is scoring. Our friends over at Sports Bubbler have a nice little article about these changes. They also talk about what other changes might be made by the season
