Fantastic discussions yesterday. Whether it was in the Downbeat , a can of tuna (where Vromanite's trade machine 'shop was on BDL) , or the beginning of the end , it was great to see everyone's opinions and discussion. Perhaps the best part was that it didn't regress into name calling, etc. We have an amazing group of posters, commenters, and lurkers. High quality stuff all around. This was brought...

View full size photo uploaded November 1, 2009 Don't know how I ended up with the injured players for this year's previews. So that makes it little harder to come up with what they're suppose to contribute this season, but we'll give it a shot. Korver was of course a bit dinged up last season (who wasn't though?). His wrist had bothered him pretty much all year. Despite that, he played in 78 games...

With his strong athletic skills and smooth jump shot, Kyle Korver is a force to be reckoned with on court. But the Jazz forward makes his presence felt off court as well by reaching out to those in need.

There are few people that would call AK’s offseason transformation anything but astounding, but even more amazing is the miracle of modern technology that helped him get there. Andrei, with his loyal Masha at his side, returned to Moscow and began his preparation for the upcoming season with a stoic resolve to take the Jazz front office’s advice and add weight to complement his height and...

I couldn't even find a picture of Wes Matthews as a Jazz man If you google Wesley Matthews Jr you wont find very much. He grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and was Mr Basketball of the state his senior year in high school. And he was part of the three guard rotation used at Marquette University along with Dominic James and Jerel McNeal . I have heard about those other two guys, but until about a month...

via www.babakus.com When the Jazz lost to the Lakers in the first round of the 2009 NBA Playoffs, the focus immediately turned to the potential free agents on the roster. Kyle Korver , Carlos Boozer , and Mehmet Okur all had player options for the 2009-2010 season, and all of them opted-in. Of the three, only one has been signed to an extension. Just a couple of days after opting in Okur signed a 2-year...

Lonely housewives all over the state of Utah are devastated by this news : “As Kyle Korver prepares to undergo surgery today in New York to remove a bone spur from his left knee, the Jazz could be without the three-point shooting guard for the season’s first six weeks. The Jazz have yet to set a timetable for his return, but Korver is believed to be operating under the assumption that he...

With all the hubbub in the offseason about the Jazz bringing back players that we didn't expect to see in Utah any longer, one player's contract status has been brushed somewhat under the table. I have no doubt that Ronnie Brewer 's agent and the Utah Jazz organization have focused a great deal on Ronnie's future with the team, but unless a contract extension is reached in the next 4 days, Ronnie Brewer...
