A few days ago, just before tailing off to Kings media day, I published a takedown of John Hollinger's ESPN preview which cited Tyreke Evans 's low college assist rates as a pointer that Too Easy will be a full-time shooting guard within two seasons. The numbers show that Evans's college assist rates are comparable with those of Derrick Rose , and better than full-time point guards like Mario Chalmers...

Michael Jordan has evoked a lot of public opinion for his "unconventional" Hall of Fame acceptance speech. Much of the opinion has been negative, calling His Airness a bitter old man and questioning his logic behind still feeling resentment towards people who have "wronged" him in his career. Sure, I would have conducted myself in a different way, had I had the honour of HoF induction,...

How ya like me now?! View full size photo uploaded September 7, 2009 Brian Scalabrine has been loved and hated; valued and vilified; counted on and counted out. He was brought in to be a veteran role playing leader. He became a punchline and a scapegoat. He was named on lists of " worst contracts ." At one point fans started to give him the old Bronx cheer (cheering in jest). Then somewhere...

It's 1:30am and I've been going since 8am so forgive me if this is as sloppy as the Cavaliers Summer League team (how's that! not bad huh!) After jump will be a data dump from my notes from today and some post game audio from Anthony Randolph and James Johnson . Grizz vs Knicks Thabeet really is that bad on offense. Very mechanical. He also surprisingly looks about 40 years old when running the floor....

Despite rarely being featured in a starring role as a rookie, Randolph was still one of the most versatile players in the...

One player I didn't mention on my previous post as to who Danny might be targeting is Jamario Moon because he is a restricted free agent and the Heat can match any offer we make for him. Since all we can offer is the vet minimum or the LLE, it wouldn't be hard to match. The Heat have tendered Moon a qualifying offer of $1,000,497 for next year. The Heat are over the cap with a payroll of $69,681,637...

The Miami Heat have made qualifying offers to forward Jamario Moon and center Joel Anthony. Moon was acquired Feb. 13 from the Toronto Raptors, along with Jermaine O'Neal in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. He appeared in 26 games...
