In his first game with the Golden State Warriors against the Portland Trail Blazers Chris Hunter started the second half, swished in a nice turnaround jumper in the low block, had a rejection and an interception, and received a standing ovation from the Roaracle crowd. Not a bad debut at all. OPEN THREAD #12: Blazers vs Warriors - The New Team Heads Home Warriors Web: Golden State Warriors 108, Portland...

Maybe Monta Ellis is ready to shoulder a heavier load, after all. The guard carried the Warriors to a 108-94 win over streaking Portland, recording a season-high 34 points and adding eight assists, six rebounds and six steals in front of 18,630 fans at Oracle...

Don Nelson post-game transcript INCLUDED ON BOTTOM to come, but figured I should put up Monta Ellis’ comments first. He had an incredible game. He didn’t just lead the Warriors in their 108-94 victory over Portland (the Warriors’ 9th straight at Oracle over the Blazers). Ellis... Continue reading...

* First off: On the Monta Ellis Situation… Sounds like both sides are delaying an official face-to-face after all the build-up (yes, much of the building up was done by me). Ellis’ agent, Jeff Fried, was scheduled to speak to Robert Rowell and Larry Riley yesterday, but it apparently... Continue reading...
