Deeeeeeeetrooooooit Basketball hasn't been quite the same this year. They lost Rasheed Wallace and brought back Ben Wallace. They may or may not have been going after Boozer depending on who you talk to and instead signed Be Gordon. His signing effectively ended any pursuit of Boozer due to salary cap issues as Boozer was looking for more than what they had left. They've also had their share of injuries...
Everybody knows what's gone wrong with the Pistons' season - injuries to Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince. The list of what's gone right is longer, even if its effects are being muted by the injuries. See True Blue Pistons for the checklist of good news.
After consecutive losses, the Lakers needed a strong response Tuesday night at Staples against the Detroit Pistons, a middling group playing without injured stars Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince. They got it, for three quarters at least, in a 106-93 win. Kobe Bryant led the way with 40 points, the 100th time he's blown up for 40 or more (that's 100 more than me and AK... combined!) over the course...

I’m digging the Pistons’ decision to start posting more video from practices and shootarounds — here’s today’s update from L.A., starting with John Kuester on tonight’s game and finishing with Tayshaun Prince talking about his recovery.
Missing Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, seeing Rodney Stuckey succumb to a calf strain, watching Ben Gordon endure a hellish shooting night... and still the Pistons almost pulled one out. It's a bunch that's all in to win, says True Blue Pistons.
From looking at the TV set, there appeared to be a lot of joy on the Pistons' bench Wednesday night. And there should have been, considering the Pistons were in the process of dismantling the Bobcats by 23 points and crowd favorite Will Bynum had his own personal dunk contest. But it is indicative of the positive vibe that has permeated the locker room since training camp began. And the vibe...
The Pistons have gone 3-2 without both Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, but now comes a brutal seven-game stretch, five of them on the road, all against likely playoff teams. Get the lowdown on how it all shakes out at True Blue Pistons.
What Happened Domination. The now .500 Detroit Pistons outscored the Charlotte Bobcats 98-75. Even without Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton, this game was the best reflection of the offense that Joe Dumars had in mind when he signed Charlie Villanueva and Ben Gordon this summer. The Good On the offensive end, the three guards and Charlie Villanueva were [...]
