The Orlando Magic re-signed free agent center Adonal Foyle, one of four members of the Magic to play in each of the team's 82 regular-season games this past season. He averaged 1.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game this past season. Foyle was selected in the first round - eighth overall - of the 1997 NBA draft by the Warriors and remains Golden State's franchise leader in blocked shots.

MAGIC, FOYLE AGREE TO ONE-YEAR CONTRACT The Magic re-signed Adonal Foyle for the veteran's minimum salary. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. I suspect he'll be the last big off the bench, if he ever even dresses, behind Dwight Howard, Tony Battie, and Marcin Gortat.

Goodbye, James Augustine. We hardly knew ye. The Orlando Sentinel reports the Orlando Magic waived the second-year power forward "as expected." The move means the Magic have 12 players with guaranteed contracts on their roster. They'll sign another player, possibly Adonal Foyle, to meet the league minimum of 13 players. Of course, it's also possible the Magic waived Augustine to free roster space...
