Having played for six teams in his six NBA seasons, guard Dan Dickau has plenty of experience in getting acclimated to a new organization. "I've seen a lot of basketball in this league," Dickau said after the Warriors' practice Thursday. "I've had a lot of...

This story about Dan Dickau joining Avellino (Italy) - leaving Avellino and joining the Golden State Warriors was kind of a weird story. Nobody really talked about the “why” and still nobody really knows. Everything we have is rumors from pretty reliable sources so we thought it might be a good idea to post them, [...]

According to sport.pl Dan Dickau will not be getting Polish nationality. The article talks about Dan Dickau's polish roots and that it was in the best interest of the Polish Basketball Federation to issue him with a polish passport so he can help the National Team of Poland. Although he was born in Portland Dickau's parents are from Poland so that would enable him to receive the Polish citizenship...

The Golden State Warriors have announced via their official website that they have signed point guard Dan Dickau. The strange thing about this is that Dan Dickau was release d from Premiata Montegranaro in Italy a few days ago because of back pain problems. This might come as a shock to some Montegranaro fans as Dickau was meant to be their top transfer. He has already been replaced by Travis Best....

Air Avellino released Dan Dickau and the earlier suspicions came true. The italian team will be playing in the Euroleague next season against powerhouses like Olympiakos , that have one of the biggest budgets in Europe and Dan Dickau was their prime target and their most expensive transfer -a contract of 1.1 million dollars- so now they need to replace him with an equally effective point guard. What...

According to mondobasket.it, Air Avellino is on the lookout for a replacement point-guard. The reason behind that is the problem that Dan Dickau is having with persistent back pains. Dan Dickau was their most expensive transfer (close to 1.1 million dollars) this transfer and they had high hopes for him but the condition of his back gives them now something to worry about. Dickau has more than 300...

The Los Angeles Clippers said Wednesday that they had renounced their rights to Shaun Livingston, the recuperating guard who is an unrestricted free agent, and four other players. The other players are Dan Dickau, Boniface Ndong, Smush Parker and James Singleton. Livingston, taken by Los Angeles as the fourth overall pick in the 2004 NBA draft, hasn't played since injuring his left knee in a game on...

Last off-season, I wrote seemingly countless posts about the Clippers' desperate need for help at the point guard. When all was said and done, they drafted and traded Jared Jordon, added Brevin Knight and Dan Dickau (and Andre Barrett and Smush Parker) via free agency, and here we are a year later in an equally desperate situation. To be fair, it's hard to imagine what they could have done differently....

The Clippers finished last season with Brevin Knight, Dan Dickau and Smush Parker as the only healthy point guards on their roster. Meanwhile, Shawn Livingston hasn't played competitive basketball, or even practiced 5-on-5, in 15 months, and was disappointing and injury-prone before that. So it's pretty much a given that the Clippers need some help at the point. In next month's draft, the only point...
