Pick by Pick Breakdown 1. Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose [PG; Memphis] Everyone knew this would be the pick come draft day and the hometown kid gets to play at home. Personally, however I would have drafted Michael Beasley as I believe the Bulls have a viable PG in Kirk Hinrich. But, with that said Rose should fit in nicely and be that star that the Bulls haven't had since Michael Jordan left. 2. Miami...

Rose is the best point guard in the draft and has the potential to be better than the Hornets’ Chris Paul. The Bulls will probably trade Kirk Hinrich or Ben Gordon.

“With the first pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls select Derrick Rose from the University of Memphis.” I’m now excited in the direction this team is going. While I do know Kirk Hinrich is still the Bulls starting point guard, I believe Rose and him will share the backcourt along with Ben Gordon, (contract [...]

Now that the pre-draft posturing and speculation is all but through, here's how I think the lottery selections will shake down (along with Draft Express's picks). 1 Bulls Draft Express: Derrick Rose, G, Memphis My prediction: The Bulls will package this pick along with Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, and Luol Deng in a rumored three-way trade with Miami and New York, in which they would receive...

The NBA Draft is tonight at 6 pm on the East Sports Programming Network and as of right now the Milwaukee Bucks select # 8. There is some craziness over at RealGM where a rumor is floating around that the Bucks would trade their 8th pick, Desmond Mason, and Charlie Villanueva for Kirk Hinrich of the Bulls. While I like Hinrich I'd rather the Bucks would get rid of Gadzuric in the deal instead of Mason....

Beasley is the best overall player in this year’s draft and will provide the frontline scoring and rebounding that the Bulls desperately need — and make guards Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon better.

Filed under: Bulls , Eastern , NBA Draft , Chicago If the Bulls draft Derrick Rose , they could feature an intriguing three-guard rotation along with Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon . But considering Gordon is always the first guy who gets bumped to the bench whenever the team shakes things up, I'm not too surprised that he's apparently hoping the team drafts Michael Beasley , instead. From the Charlottesville...

I thought up this one while reading R-Man's FanPost : Brad Miller and Quincy Douby to Chicago for Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah. From Chicago's side (and this only works if they are drafting Derrick Rose), they rid themselves of the $37.5 million, four year contract of Hinrich's and free up the point guard position for Rose. They acquire a high post center in Miller that they will have to pay for two...

As soon as the Chicago Bulls hit the lottery jackpot the question began circling: How available is Kirk Hinrich and could the Blazers use him? This was one of the lead questions on the ever-excellent Gavin Dawson show on 95.5 The Game and I’d like to elaborate here. Before I do, many thanks to Matt at BlogaBull for helping refine some of the rough perceptions on Hinrich. He’s helping me bring things...

- Rumor 1: Chicago will trade Kirk Hinrich to Miami and pick Derrick Rose as their point guard of the future. (si.com)- Idea: Since the Heat would probably draft Michael Beasley in this situation, the Wizards could offer their 18th pick and Etan Thomas or Songalia for Udonis Haslem; if they were unabale to re-sign [...]

Chicago Bulls Kirk Hinrich and Andres Nocioni both received votes in the NBA's All-Defensive team ballotting, but neither was close to making the team. Hinrich got three votes, one for first-team, and Nocioni got one.

As many basketball insiders predicted, former Phoenix Suns coach Mike D'Antoni is leaving the desert and taking over in the windy city. And who can really be surprised? They have a great young point guard in Kirk Hinrich, and some really talented younger swingmen that should be able to bring back the... he did WHAT? Okay, now that the initial shock has worn off, let's look at this objectively. Never...

For a man who's been a superstar at every level he's played, the NBA sure has proven to be strange for Bulls forward Drew Gooden.
