Good morning, D.C. We could hardly believe what we were reading when we first saw that former D.C. Council member Harold Brazil (he lost his At-large seat to Kwame Brown four years ago and also represented Ward 6 long before that) was arrested in a tattoo parlor brawl last night. WTOP caught first wind of the story, though the Post has the better details : allegedly Brazil, 59, entered the tattoo...

"Rasheed Wallace went at Kwame Brown full-throttle at the end of practice Tuesday. It started when Brown said that he would put Wallace 'in the trunk and lock him up.' Wallace went off. 'There is no way on God's green earth that you can lock me up, ever, ever, ever,' he said. 'You couldn't lock me up in when you were in D.C. or L.A., nowhere. You're lucky you never had to face me in high school.' Brown...

Rasheed Wallace was in familiar form. His target this time: Pistons newcomer Kwame Brown. Wallace was at his loudest when Brown crammed home an alley-oop dunk late in Tuesday's practice, shouting that it was only Brown's third basket in three hours of practice.

Three straight empty trips to the Eastern Conference finals. Four of five starters are 30 or older. Despite being mentioned in numerous potential trades this offseason, all Detroit ended up with was former No. 1 pick Kwame Brown, whose confidence is shot - technically, it was gone when Jordan called him a faggot as a [...]

When the Pistons signed Kwame Brown to a two-year, $8-million contract this summer, it wasn't exactly the move Pistons fans had in mind. The thinking is that Brown, a 6-11 athletic center with strength and quickness, will thrive in an environment where he is just an ingredient -- not the cake.

Every election season sees its share of campaign materials, from the expected (yard signs) to the somewhat exotic (Kwame Brown's campaign-mobile ). But repeat candidate Michael A. Brown may have stumbled across the most frustrating in his current quest for an At-Large seat on the D.C. Council. In recent weeks, small fliers for Brown's campaign have appeared on the windshields of cars throughout the...

I was reading The Offside and came across the news that Landon Donovan is once again cogitating about a move to Europe . Seems Landon reckons he could breakthrough this time around. And he thinks Ron Artest will stay on his best behavior with the Houston Rockets, Kwame Brown will become an NBA All-Star with the Detroit Pistons, Floyd Landis really was clean, and Matt Millen is a hot GM candidate. Donovan's...
