this search landed on my blog. A reader using Pacbell.net landed here from Los Angeles, California. They spent two minutes to figure out that David Eckstein wasn't Jewish and neither is Rajon Rondo. Seriously. WTF?

In the Herald, Steve Bulpett reports that Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins will both decline the offer to be on the USA Select team that will scrimmage with the Mens National team to prepare them for the Olympics. It doesn't mention Rondo's reason for turning down the offer, but Perk may be headed for more surgery on his troublesome shoulder. Perkins faces the possibility of more surgery on his left...

Shaquille O'Neal just stripped Mamba Black of any remaining street credibility that wasn't already pilfered by Rajon Rondo. I was all set to eulogize George Carlin tonight but then Shaq beat me to the punch, using all 7 words (at least) that you can't say on Blazers Edge. This video is very NSFW. Along with The Carter III, I think this video proves we may finally be, after a years-long drought, in...

While Finals MVP Paul Pierce, Defensive Player of the Year Kevin Garnett and All-Star three point marksman Ray Allen clearly played significant roles in leading the Celtics to the 2008 NBA Championship, young point guard Rajon Rondo also made a valuable contribution to their title run, particularly in the clinching game of the Finals. Rondo's 21 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals...

Well, according to Rajon Rondo, a drink called "Purple" is his current beverage of choice. At first, I was like why is he drinking something called "Purple"? Sounds like something the Lakers would endorse. And then I was like well, he did eat the Lakers up in game 6, so maybe he is using this "Purple" as some kind of metaphor. Then finally, I thought I am thinking way too much into this and lets just...

BOSTON (AP) Young point guard Rajon Rondo played so poorly in Game 5 of the NBA Finals that Celtics coach Doc Rivers used him for just 14 1/2 minutes. That all changed in Game 6. Rondo was hesitant to shoot in Sunday night's fifth game loss in Los Angeles. He even passed up an easy layup to throw the ball out for a longer shot that missed. Read the full story

The naked Cubs flag woman has been busy this summer Today’s Can’t Miss: Wow, it’s going to take us a few days to come off that NBA Finals high. There is talk of retiring KG’s number, Paul Pierce a Hall of Famer and Rajon Rondo for US Senate. BC is turning the page. It’s time for [...]

It wasn't even close. Sure I called it, but the Boston Celtics exceeded any stretch of the imagination on how to throttle an opponent in a close out game. The swag was phenomenal. The celebration was legendary. Maybe next year,...

Mazel tov to the Boston Celtics and former Kentucky Wildcat Rajon Rondo for winning the 2007-08 NBA championship. The Celtics won the NBA finals last night in Game 6 with winning four games to the Los Angeles Lakers' 2 in the series. Rondo had a huge night and we salute him.

BOSTON -- The Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals did not lack for drama. Even the series-clinching rout in Game 6 on Tuesday featured a huge bounce-back performance by a much-maligned player (Rajon Rondo) and another in-game return from injury (Ray Allen). While the action on the court wasn't always pretty, the championship round was full of storylines and images worthy of the great Celtics-Lakers rivalry....

Here are a few observations I took from the NBA Finals. Which mercifully ended with a 40 point killing in Game 6. Anyway, as follows: Good God, Simmons is going to be unbearable for the next 5 years. At least Rajon Rondo didn't break Robert Horry's record for steals in an NBA Finals game. Horry had 7 against Orlando in 1995. Rondo came up just short with 6, though not for the lack of help from the...

Filed under: Celtics , NBA Draft , NBA Playoffs , Boston Rajon Rondo 's status among the great young NBA point guards will be discussed fully this summer, I suspect. It's a hard argument to make because no point guard in the league derives so much of his talent from the defensive end, and few are as well-rounded (21 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 6 steals -- who let Andrei Kirilenko circa 2004 in...

BOSTON -- Rajon Rondo was sitting in the laps of the baseline photographers with his feet up like he was in a swimming pool, having careened there amid the long bottomless run of Boston Celtics drives to the basket. The happiness of his surroundings was deafening. It had been such a long time coming for everybody, and yet the five Celtics on the floor looked oblivious of the work they were finishing...
