The guard is a restricted free agent. Lakers reserve guard Sasha Vujacic, a restricted free agent, is prepared to leave the team and accept an offer from a European team in the next few days if the Lakers don't make him an offer he deems fair, according to a source in the Vujacic camp who spoke only on the condition of anonymity.

The free agents currently available seem to all be interested in Europe now. Sasha Vujacic is threatening to go to Europe if he doesn't get about $5 million a year. Pretty soon we might as well take every guy on the market and ask if they want to go to Europe (Josh Smith next'). I hope LA will keep Sasha, he's a young, pesky defender and his jump shot is dynamite. It gives LA great depth when you...

Those Sasha Vujacic negotiations aren't going all that well, it seems, and the LAT's Steve Springer reports that Sasha is prepared to take a deal in Europe if the Lakers won't pony up. How much of this is posturing, it's hard to say- I'm not in the room in which negotiations are taking place- but it's a credible threat, given Vujacic's roots and the recent decision by former Hawks forward Josh Childress...

This is honestly one of the slowest days in the NBA I’ve ever come across, at least at this time of year. But, here is some small stuff. Lakers’ restricted free agent Sasha Vujacic has changed agents, according to the Riverside Press Enterprise. This has made the process of signing a new deal with LA slower. In [...]

I mentioned to a reader yesterday how I've asked around a bit in regards to Sasha Vujacic's situation and that oddly, nobody has heard a peep. Well, turns out The Face just switched agents again, going back to Rob Pelinka (Kobe's guy, for those who don't know) after previously leaving him for Bill Duffy. Not sure what prompted this or the other shake ups, but there's a little known CBA ordinance stating...

The Lakers continue to take part in a slow-speed chase, waiting to see whether Sasha Vujacic and Ronny Turiaf receive offers from other teams that would price the restricted free agents out of the Lakers' comfort zone.Last week, the Lakers made one-year qualifying offers to Vujacic for $2.6 million and Turiaf for $1 million, though both players are seeking longer-term deals worth more money. They are...

Sorry, but I have somewhere I have to be at that time and BK is out of the country on vacation. Thus, we gotta cancel this week. But tune in seven days hence, when we likely have definitive developments to discuss with Ronny Turiaf, Sasha Vujacic and anything else "free agent" related. Thanks, AK
