They paid $2.3 million in attorney's fees, $61,296 for an expert witness who bombed on the stand and $17,000 to the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, but in the end, the city of Seattle came out ahead financially in its lawsuit against the Sonics' Oklahoma-based ownership group led by Clay Bennett.
