Season Tickets on Sale for 2010; "Coco Miller is WHERE?"

The new page for Atlanta Dream Season Tickets is up. However, there is no information on the pricing of the packages. I wonder if there are just two Dream Account Representatives right now. The Dream also has a players overseas page , but the page still lists Coco Miller as playing in Russia. If she is, the name of the team is a complete mystery. I'm thinking of putting up a milk carton looking for...

Coco Miller in Moscow?

At least according to the 2009-10 WNBA Overseas Roster . I've not seen any confirmation about this on the Russian websites or at Eurobasket. However, Kelly Miller is playing for Spartak Moscow. Maybe the W, like many others, can't tell the difference either.

Atlanta Dream Similarity Scores for 2009

Last year, I did a few posts regarding similarity scores . From the earlier post: Similarity Scores was designed to be a fair way to compare players by their career statistical lines. The idea is "start with 1000" points and then begin to take away points from points of difference. For example, if two players had career steals totals that were 20 steals apart, we would take one point away...

Ivory Latta to Mersin

Through following Ivory Latta's Twitter messages, I've figured out that she's playing in Turkey, and now I know where. She'll be playing for Mersin. The link (in Turkish) is here . Last year, she played with Ceyhan in Turkey, and transferred to Israel - a transfer which was probably a straight buy-out of Latta's contract, as Maccabi Rabat Hen needed help. Turkey's season starts on October 24. An update...

From the Post-Bulletin : Spotted about town this week: Twin sisters Kelly and Coco Miller, who both play in the WNBA. The 1997 Mayo grads are in Rochester visiting after recently concluding their 2009 season, Kelly with the Minnesota Lynx and Coco with the Atlanta Dream. Coco and the Dream earned a playoff spot, but lost in the first round. The Millers reside in Phoenix in the offseason but often travel...

P2/2009 - Shock 94, Dream 79

"All right, who is to blame?" I'm going to try to rush through this without much thought. I just want to wrap the season up as quickly as I can and not feel compelled to write very much about it. You gotta keep your head up, look straight ahead, and move on. 1) Sound carries very well in The Arena at Gwinnett Center. I got a chance to see Ivory Latta practicing, and as she heaved up 3-point...
