The Shock on Wednesday said farewell to two of their younger, works-in-progress players and hello to a player in her prime. And the defending Eastern Conference champs might soon say good-bye to the team's most popular player. Gone is center and Grand Rapids native Katie Feenstra, who was selected by the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA expansion draft after one season in Detroit.

It was only a matter of time before Ruth Riley was traded. On Thursday, the Shock moved the inconsistent 6-foot-5 center, sending her to the San Antonio Silver Stars for 6-8 center Katie Feenstra, who's from Grand Rapids. Reached by phone Thursday, Riley -- who is playing in Poland -- said leaving the team she won two league titles with was bittersweet.
