The Minnesota Lynx acquired former No. 1 overall draft pick LaToya Thomas from the Detroit Shock on Sunday in exchange for Shay Murphy, giving the Lynx three former top picks on their roster. Thomas was the No. 1 pick of the Cleveland Rockers in 2003. Seimone Augustus was the top pick in 2006 and Lindsey Harding was No. 1 last year.
