To me, Ohio State fans are jealous of the new kids on the block who are stealing their girlfriends & taking �em to the Prom, writes Chick Ludwig on his blog. What I dislike, rather intensely, is the petty back-and-forth criticism of each other, even though it's to be expected.

University of Cincinnati wideout Mardy Gilyard caught 12 passes for 172 yards, an average of 14.3 per catch, in the Bearcats' 47-45 victory over Connecticut on Saturday night at Nippert Stadium. He also had five kick returns for 144 yards, including a 43-yarder.

Jamel McLean's father, William, last week died of a heart attack at 47. Since then the junior has dedicated the season to the father. He'll be back in action Saturday in XU's 7:30 p.m. exhibition game against NKU.
