Damiano Cunego will not take the start in next week's Olympic road race. Together with Franco Ballerini, director of the Azurri, he took the decision after Saturday's Clasica San Sebastien. Cunego is still troubled by his injuries from his crash at the Tour de France. He had "negative sensations" during the race, including difficulty breathing and a nagging headache.
