KIRKWOOD | The man who killed five people at Kirkwood City Hall used a stolen gun. Police have no idea where Charles Lee “Cookie” Thornton got the weapon. Thornton killed two police officers, two members of the city council and the public works director in a rampage at a council meeting earlier this month.
