Tuesday, 28-year-old kicker Steve Azar was managing a Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken restaurant in Florida. Wednesday, he signed with the Utah Blaze, replacing 36-year-old veteran Steve Videtich, who was released after missing a field goal and an extra point in Utah's 63-62 loss

The only person who has played in all 35 games in Utah Blaze history is kicker Steve Videtich, who is so much a part of the third-year franchise that he sold his home in New Jersey, brought his family to Utah, built a home in West Jordan and worked in the front office during the offseason.

Steve Videtich, the man tied for the all-time Arena Football League lead in field goals, felt good about his kick with eight seconds remaining on Saturday night at EnergySolutions Arena. A true kick would have given his Utah Blaze a season-opening victory.
