What crisis? Not to Caldwell

It wasn't easy, but the Indianapolis Colts beat the Houston Texans on Sunday without defensive front-liners Tyjuan Hagler, Marlin Jackson, Bob Sanders and Kelvin Hayden, kicker Adam Vinatieri, wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez and 2009 first-round draft pick Donald Brown, all of whom were out with injuries.

Hopefully the last in injury reports, and Top 10

The Colts have had a numbing week in terms of bodies lost with SLB Tyjuan Hagler (biceps), CB Marlin Jackson (knee) and S Bob Sanders (biceps) being lost for the season. Here's the rest of the injury report for Sunday's big AFC South game against visiting Houston (5-3), as well as weekly Top 10. Forget Tebow, when does Sturgis come out?

Strugis would have Bucs fans forgetting all about Nugent, and Bryant (and Gramatica too). View full size photo uploaded October 31, 2009 The answer of course is he is a sophomore, and will be available no earlier than 2011 draft. Caleb is 14 out of 17 at the time of this writing, and just hammered home a 56 yard field goal for the Florida Gators. Its not all uncommon for a kicker to go high in the...

Injuries, Colts still on top

The customary Saturday offering has a few more names on the injury report and the same No. 1. INJURY REPORT OUT WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee), CB Marlin Jackson (knee), K Adam Vinatieri (knee) -- I expect Gonzo and Jackson to practice next week. Gonzo might not be ready until New England, but a lot will depend upon how he works out. Jackson has said he would be back for the Houston game. Vinatieri actually...

49ers-Colts Final Injury Report

We've got the final injury report for the week, but there remain a lot of question marks. The Colts have listed Dwight Freeney and Reggie Wayne as Questionable, which means there's a 50-50 chance they'll play. I'd imagine most folks are anticipating they'll play, because the "Questionable" designation is more or less a joke in the NFL. Both Freeney and Wayne were full participants in practice...

Week 8: Thursday Injury Report

Not a pretty injury report. None of the 7 that sat out yesterday returned to practice today. They were joined by a sick Ramon Humber , Jacob Tamme with a hamstring injury and a resting Bob Sanders . Recapping the 7 that missed a second day: Donald Brown (shoulder), Eric Foster (shoulder), Dwight Freeney (Knee), Anthony Gonzalez (knee), Marlin Jackson (knee), Reggie Wayne (groin), Adam Vinatieri (knee)....

49ers-Colts Thursday Injury Report and practice transcript

A day later and the Colts non-practice list continues with a couple of small additions. No further word on Reggie Wayne , although Colts President Bill Polian said he still expects Wayne to start on Sunday . This will make tomorrow's final injury report all the more interesting. I still see no reason not to expect Wayne on the field, but it's something to pay close attention to. We'll definitely have...

Luke Links: The "UnBeaten in October" Edition

For the fifth time in six years, the Colts are unbeaten in September and October. Though the combined record of the teams Indy has played to start the season is an underwhelming 11-26, with the best team (record-wise) being the Cardinals , the games on Indy's schedule have resulted in two close, early contests and four blowouts. Since the Miami Dolphins game, the Colts have dominated their opponents...
