Texans Star Receiver Andre Johnson on the Cover of ESPN The Magazine: NFL Midseason Report

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Andre Johnson deserves a national stage -- he’s dominant, humble and the No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL, and yet he can count on one hand the number of times he has played on national TV. Drafted third in 2003 by the Texans, Johnson has played more games without making the playoffs than all but two active receivers. In “Simply Irreplaceable”, in the new...

Buc'Em Fantasy Football Review

Okay kids... Week 11 is fast approaching. 2 regular season fantasy weeks to go after this weekend. It's crunch time, so I'm sure many of you (like me) are gripping over which players to plug into those WR2/3, flex, and RB2 spots. Again, if you have a Peyton Manning, Chris Johnson, or other matchup-proof player, then by all means go with that player. Let's take a look at some players who you might want...

How Good is the Tennessee Titans Secondary Now?

More photos » by Wade Payne - AP Browse more photos » We have spent a lot of time talking about how much better the Titans secondary is now than it was at the Boston Massacre. But my question is how much better are they? They looked good against Jacksonville, San Francisco, and Buffalo, but none of those teams have a passing attack that really strikes fear into anyone. Thus the real test...

Vikings' CB: Calvin Johnson Is 'LeBron James of Football'

by Chris Burke Filed under: Lions Calvin Johnson , now is his third professional season, has shown flashes of brilliance. His 1,200-plus yards receiving and 12 touchdowns in 2008 were incredible numbers considering Detroit finished 0-16. But "Megatron" has just one TD grab this season, and the Lions are a combined 8-33 since drafting him. So while Johnson has been stellar at times and has...

2009 Fantasy Rankings - Week 11 WRs

1. Andre Johnson vs. Tennessee Titans The Titans have shored up some of their secondary woes but after Sunday’s game, in which T.O. and Evans had solid games, it’s apparent that issues still exist. And Andre Johnson is not the man you want to face with issues. Expect a big receiving night for Johnson with over 100 [...]

Colts-Texans redux I

Here's what stuck out from watching the Colts' 20-17 victory over the Texans last Sunday: * From the start, TE Dallas Clark is the go-to guy. Two plays, two catches. Then after mixing in Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie, Peyton Manning goes to Clark again. * First rush, behind new starter Kyle DeVan at RG, Joseph Addai gains 4. * Collie has back-to-back drops. Don't see that too often from the rookie,...
