A federal judge tossed an attorney off a criminal case today after prosecutors had alleged he, too, profited from the alleged scheme to defraud investors at the heart of the prosecution. Attorney Rufus Cook filed 133 pages of documents to back up his argument that he should continue to represent Robert Anthony Bryant. But the strategy appeared to backfire because U.S. District Judge James Zagel said...

The cuts won’t become official until 6 p.m. today, and even then there’s still a lot of time for the Giants to tweak their roster before opening day on Sept. 13. But according to various NFL sources, and a couple of reports, below is what I believe is the 53-man roster the Giants will announce later this evening. I’ve also included the list of cuts I’ve been compiling all day...

They’ve got a full day of meetings. But no practice and no media access. So there’s really no need for me to stay. But before I go, here is the evening practice report … • Fresh off...
