Hoover's ankle should be OK

The Carolina Growl reports X-rays on Panthers FB Brad Hoover 's ankle showed no breaks. He does have a high ankle sprain and was walking with the aid of crutches, so it's possible Hoover could miss this week's game against New Orleans. He finished the game with Arizona with one carry for 2 yards.

Hoover fumbles only carry

Carolina RB Brad Hoover saw one carry in a Week 5 win over the Redskins. He fumbled that carry on the goal line and it resulted in Redskins ball. He did not lose the fumble but since the ball ended up in the end zone recovered by Hoover, he could not advance his own fumble.
