Happy afternoon folks... there's a little bit of movement going on around the Bears camp this afternoon. First, on Jeff Dickerson's Twitter page , he's reporting that Pisa Tinoisamoa is back on the practice field. What's interesting though is that he says Pisa had a complete tear of his PCL, or posterior cruciate ligament. Ouch. Brad Biggs is reporting that former Bears WRs Derek Kinder and Brandon...

Club will keep 6 receivers and 11 defensive backs Multiple sources confirmed the Bears will release Brandon Rideau, who was battling Rashied Davis and Devin Aromashodu for one of the receiver spots. Rideau had an 18-yard touchdown reception from Brett Basanez in Thursday's 26-23 exhibition victory over the Browns, but that wasn't enough to help him earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh At Soldier Field on Thursday night, men in Chicago Bears uniforms beat men in Cleveland Browns uniforms 26-23 in the teams' fourth and final preseason game. Those who had any impact on this game were different from those who will likely do so once the games count as the coaching staff tried to sort out the final few roster spots and keep the starters healthy. Did Bears star QB...

Tonight's game versus the Cleveland Browns will provide one last chance for a lot of players to make their case for a spot on the final 53 man roster. Some positions are pretty clear, while others have yet to be figured out. Here's an article from the Tribune that identifies certain players that may be on the outside looking in . Excerpt: Linebacker How many: 7. Projected odd men out: Marcus Freeman...

Image via FTD.com With a roster that needs to be trimmed down to its final 53 by Friday and fierce competition at certain positions, some players in Bears camp are making quite the extra effort to avoid getting cut... but by sending flowers? That's the tactic employed by wide receiver Devin Aromashodu [ Ed's Note: Woo! War Eagle! - M.G. ], who hoped the bouquets would help him remain a Bear . "I...

A couple may have to go after final exhibition Thursday night Because the Bears are unlikely to give up on Juaquin Iglesias and Johnny Knox, that would leave two spots at most for Rashied Davis, Devin Aromashodu and Brandon Rideau. Davis could have an advantage because of his play on special teams.

What to look for on Sunday night at 7 p.m. as the Chicago Bears travel to Denver: 1. Jay Cutler – How does he react to the vicious Broncos crowd? 2. Wide receivers – Is Cutler getting on the same page as Devin Hester? What other receivers will shine, Earl Bennett or Brandon Rideau or Juaquin Iglesias or Johnny Knox? 3. Defensive line – Will the new fangled defensive line under Rod...

In possibly the most anticipated preseason game of 2009, Sunday's game in Denver will definitely have plenty of drama to go along with the actual football game. We don't need to rehash everything, but it will certainly be interesting to see Kyle Orton and Jay Cutler square off against their former teams, as well as how the city of Denver will welcome Cutler back into his old stadium. Orton will be...
