Defensive back Ty Law has agreed to terms on a deal with the Denver Broncos. Carl Poston, one of Law's agents, confirmed the news Friday to The Associated Press. The agreement came after Denver's media availability and a Broncos spokesman said the team had no comment. The 35-year-old Law, a perennial Pro Bowl selection, will fit right in with veterans Champ Bailey, Andre' Goodman, Brian Dawkins and...

Now this is a weird move. The Broncos have agreed to a contract with CB Ty Law - who was once one of the better corners in the League with the New England Patriots , pending a physical tonight. Law and the Broncos have reached agreement on a contract that will add another former Patriot to Josh McDaniels' stable of them in Denver. Law confirmed the developments when contacted Friday. He is scheduled...

From: Fox, Ashley To: Brookover, Bob; McLane, Jeff Re: Super Five There was a lot of blather yesterday at the NovaCare Complex about how Donovan McNabb has evolved into the vocal leader in the Eagles locker room now that everyone who came before him - Tra Thomas, Jon Runyan, Brian Dawkins, to name a few - is gone. With McNabb in his 11th year here, isn't that as it should be? He is the old head.

From what I see below, we won't know if Baltimore Ravens left tackle Jared Gaither will play in Sunday's game until just before game time. I guess that Head Coach John Harbaugh is getting a little "Belichick" in him, refusing to disclose Gaither's status until absolutely necessary. So while Gaither remains questionable for the game, no one else on either the Ravens nor Broncos are in that...

How good are the Ravens ? Don't be fooled by the 3-3 record. They've beat the teams they should have (KC and CLE), and won against a tough SD team. Their losses came to teams that are pretty good (NE, CIN, and MIN). Don't sell this team short. On the other hand, many folks are more likely to sell Denver short. Vegas has them down by 3 points at the time of this writing, despite a 6-0 record. Denver...

At this point, after tinkering with a bunch of mocks, here is my October 2009 ideal mock right now. First, a discussion of my goals: I largely throw out best player available because I honestly have no earthly clue who will be the best player available anywhere. The Draft turns into a mad scramble halfway into the second round. So I projected players to a likely round and made my selection. This draft...

Brian Dawkins fires up his teammates with frenzied and feverish dance moves before games. So does Ray Lewis. The Denver Broncos safety sets the tone on the field through big plays and bone-rattling hits. Same with the Baltimore Ravens linebacker.

When planning out how the conclusion to the NFL betting card for Week 6 would shape up, this matchup between the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers couldn’t have been scripted any better. ESPN has to be happy with this matchup. On one side of the field, an AFC West team that has surprised many with its .500 start and defensive struggles, desperately seeking to generate something positive out of...
